
Position:Local Business Manager:
Main Responsibilities:
Job description:
- Conduct survey on local small businesses in PPH.
- Prepare survey analyze.
- Design training curriculum for families.
- Recruit skill trainers and literacy/business trainer.
- Conduct business case management and train additional case workers.
- Provide business support including detailed business plans and business start up assistance (training, equipment, material, workbook…) to project beneficiaries.
- Prepare project support documents (income monitoring etc...).
- Follow-up project's budget.
- Prepare monthly and Quarterly reports.
- Assist project team leader in other tasks where necessary.
Experiences and qualifications:
- Experience with local business in Cambodia( NGO or private).
- Experience working with poor communities in Phnom Penh.
- University degree, preferably in business management.
- Willingness to work in a difficult environment.
- Have a strong interest/understanding of the situation of street children and child rights.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Dynamic, enthusiastic and with initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent team work skills.
- Prepared to work in a flexible manner.
- Computer skills, both English and Khmer.
- Availability to travel locally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location: This position is based in Phnom-Penh and will require frequent travel to the communities
Duration: Full-time work, 12 Months (extension possible)
